Today, July 29, we mark the Constitution Day of the Republic of Moldova, an occasion to reaffirm the importance of the supreme law of the state and the democratic values it enshrines.
The Constitution represents the foundation of the rule of law, guarantees the fundamental rights and freedoms of citizens, and enshrines the principles that underlie the organization and conduct of free, fair, and democratic elections. By exercising the right to vote, citizens express their will and contribute to the strengthening of democracy and the rule of law, within the framework of periodic elections organized in accordance with the principles of legality, transparency, and equality.
On the occasion of Constitution Day, the Electoral Council of the Leova District Electoral Circumscription No. 22 reaffirms its commitment to exercising its duties with professionalism, impartiality, and responsibility, contributing to the respect of constitutional principles and the strengthening of democratic processes.
Respecting the Constitution is the responsibility of each of us and represents the foundation of a society based on legality, democracy, and mutual respect.
