On August 7, 2026, Stănișor Natalia, the chairwoman of the Electoral Council of the Edineț District Electoral Circumscription No. 16, organized and moderated an online working meeting with the secretaries of the local public administration authorities in the district. During the meeting, current topics regarding the preparation of electoral activities and the updating of the State Register of Voters were addressed, including:

- resolving conflicts in the State Register of Voters and establishing deadlines for reducing the number of cases under examination;

- the situation of deceased individuals listed in the State Register of Voters, analyzing identified cases and continuing collaboration with competent institutions for data updating;

- organizing the next certification session for electoral officials, discussing options for conducting the examination online or in person;

- preparing informational and electoral education activities dedicated to the International Day of Democracy, celebrated annually on September 15;

- promoting the official website of the Electoral Council of the Edineț District Electoral Circumscription, where official information regarding the institution's activities, regulatory framework, and other materials of public interest are published.

During the discussions, the importance of collaboration between the Electoral Council of the Edineț District Electoral Circumscription and the local public administration authorities was emphasized, as well as the essential role of secretaries in the accurate and ongoing updating of the State Register of Voters and in the preparation of electoral activities.

The chairwoman of the Edineț District Electoral Council No. 16, Stănișor Natalia, thanked the participants for their involvement, responsibility, and ongoing cooperation, expressing confidence that, through joint efforts, all planned activities will be carried out efficiently and within the established deadlines.
