According to the information presented by the Central Electoral Commission, out of a total of 3,306,783 registered voters in the State Register of Voters, 60,615 eligible citizens are assigned to the Edineț district.
What is the State Register of Voters?
The State Register of Voters (SRV) is a unique and integrated informational system for the record of voters, a component of the Automated State Information System "Elections."
Its role is to ensure:
the collection and storage of data about voters;
the permanent updating of information;
the recording and analysis of data regarding citizens with voting rights.
The Register is systematically and automatically updated based on data from the State Population Register.
The manner of formation, administration, and updating of the State Register of Voters is established by the Regulation on the State Register of Voters, approved by the Decision of the Central Electoral Commission no. 1140/2023.
CECE Edineț no. 16 continues to inform citizens and local public authorities about the importance of correctly updating the data in the electoral lists and about the proper organization of the electoral process.
