The CEC has launched consultations regarding the reconfiguration of the institutional architecture for managing electoral risks.

On June 2, 2026, the Chairman of the Electoral Council No. 28 Sângerei, Mr. Oleg Tudosan, participated in a workshop dedicated to reconfiguring the institutional architecture for managing electoral risks. The activity, organized by the Central Electoral Commission, with the support of International IDEA and the European Union, brought together officials from the CEC and the Continuous Training Center in the electoral field and aimed to analyze and validate a new policy framework regarding the management of electoral risks.

During the workshop, the preliminary version of the electoral risk management policy was presented, with participants examining proposals for reconfiguring the institutional framework, coordination mechanisms, and operational procedures necessary for identifying, assessing, and managing electoral risks.

The working sessions, conducted in a focus group format, allowed for the collection of opinions and recommendations regarding the improvement of the policy document and standard operational procedures, as well as identifying solutions to strengthen the institutional capacity for preventing and responding to electoral risks.

The conclusions and proposals formulated during the seminar will be integrated into the process of finalizing strategic and operational documents, contributing to the development of a modern and efficient system for managing electoral risks.
