Today, August 18, 2026, within the electoral district of Leova No. 22, the first in-person examination of the 2026 certification session for training/specialization in the electoral field was held, aimed at individuals wishing to work in electoral bodies.

The certification examination was organized by the Continuous Training Center in the Electoral Field (CICDE), in collaboration with the Electoral Council of the electoral district of Leova No. 22.

A total of 17 candidates registered for the examination, of which 15 attended. Following the evaluation, 13 candidates passed the examination, resulting in a pass rate of 86.6% of those present.

Mr. Gheorghe Rață, a trainer at CICDE, and Ms. Roxana Ceoric, the Chairwoman of the Electoral Council of the electoral district of Leova No. 22, served as designated assistants for the examination.

The conduct of the examination represents an important step in preparing individuals who wish to engage in the activities of electoral bodies and in strengthening a well-trained, professional, and responsible body of electoral officials.

At the same time, we remind that, in accordance with the provisions of the Electoral Code and the current electoral legislation, holding a qualification certificate for training/specialization in the electoral field is necessary to work in electoral bodies.

Certification examinations can be taken both in person and online, providing interested individuals the opportunity to obtain the necessary certification for work in electoral bodies.

We encourage interested individuals to follow the information regarding the conduct of certification examinations and to take advantage of the opportunity to obtain the qualification certificate for training/specialization in the electoral field, thus taking an important step towards involvement in the activities of electoral bodies.
