On June 17, 2026, the president of the electoral council of the Leova district electoral constituency no. 22, Mrs. Roxana Ceoric, held a working meeting with the representative of the Leova Police Inspectorate, during which topics concerning the strengthening of inter-institutional cooperation and the efficiency of collaboration between electoral authorities and police bodies were addressed.
During the discussions, participants highlighted the importance of ongoing communication and effective cooperation between institutions, essential elements for ensuring compliance with electoral legislation, preventing potential violations, and the proper conduct of electoral processes under conditions of legality, fairness, and transparency.
At the same time, in recognition of the professionalism, responsibility, and contribution made to ensuring a free, fair, and transparent electoral process, the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Moldova awarded the Merit Diploma to Mrs. Mariana Șumca, Deputy Head of the SIC of the SSP of the Leova Police Inspectorate.
The distinction represents an acknowledgment of the involvement and support provided in activities that contribute to the conduct of electoral processes in accordance with democratic principles and the provisions of electoral legislation.
