In the context of the International Day of Democracy, an information and dialogue activity was held within the Electoral Council of the Leova District Electoral Circumscription No. 22, with the participation of electoral officials from the CEC and members of the CEC apparatus.

The activity provided an opportunity to reflect on the values that underpin a democratic society and on the role of the electoral administration in promoting and respecting these values. The discussions focused on the importance of elections as a tool through which citizens exercise their right to participate in public life, as well as on the responsibility of electoral institutions to ensure appropriate conditions for the exercise of this right.

An important topic of the activity was the role of the electoral official. From the preparation and organization of electoral processes to the correct application of procedures and interaction with voters, each stage entails responsibility, attention, and professionalism.

During the discussions, it was emphasized that trust in the electoral process is built not only through compliance with the legal framework but also through fairness, transparency, impartiality, communication, and a responsible attitude in the exercise of duties.

Moreover, the activity provided an opportunity for an exchange of opinions and experiences among team members, addressing practical aspects of electoral activity and the importance of good cooperation between electoral officials and the CEC apparatus.
