The Electoral Council of the Sângerei District Electoral Circumscription No. 28 informs about the organization of the last examination session of this year for obtaining the qualification certificate in the electoral field. The event is scheduled for October 29, 2026, starting at 11:00 AM, and will take place in the meeting room of the Sângerei District Council, located at 111 Independence Street, 3rd floor.
Citizens interested in being part of the electoral bodies must note that the period for submitting the online application and actual registration for the examination expires on October 26, 2026, at 5:00 PM. The process is open to all eligible voters who are at least 18 years old and wish to actively participate in the proper conduct of elections in the Republic of Moldova.
Legal framework and importance of certification
Involvement in electoral management is strictly conditioned by the current legislation. According to the provisions of Article 35 paragraph (5) and Article 38 paragraph (12) of Electoral Code No. 325/2022, the status of a member of an electoral council at any level or of a polling station electoral bureau is accessible exclusively to individuals who hold a valid qualification certificate at the time of confirmation in office, issued by the Continuous Training Center in the Electoral Field (CICDE).
Additionally, the organizers remind that this certificate is valid for 4 years. Therefore, individuals who have taken the certification exam during the 2023 session can request an extension of the certificate's validity starting from the current session, following the standard application submission procedure.
