According to the data from the State Register of Voters, as of August 3, 2026, there are 60,570 citizens with voting rights registered in the Edineț district.

At the national level, the State Register of Voters includes 3,305,709 individuals. Of these: 2,761,304 voters are assigned to second-level administrative-territorial units; 265,835 voters are citizens of the Republic of Moldova with voting rights who are not registered at their domicile or residence, including individuals who have emigrated legally beyond the borders of the country; 278,570 individuals have their registered domicile in the administrative-territorial units on the left bank of the Nistru, which are temporarily outside the constitutional control of the authorities of the Republic of Moldova.
